Daddojanam(Yogurt rice)

Ingredients::

Yogurt :: 2 cups(non flovored yogurt)

Cooked Rice :: 1 cup

(For 1 cup of rice add 2 cups of water and cook the rice)

Urad daal ::1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds :: 1/2 teaspoon

Ajwain(Carrom seeds) ::1/2 teaspoon

HIng (asafoetida) :: a pinch

Red chillie ::1

Green chillie :: 1

Curry leaves :: 6 to 7

Corainder leaves :: 1/4 cup of chopped leaves

Ghee :: 1 teaspoon

Oil :: 1 teaspoon

Salt :: 2 teaspoons

Procedure::

Cook the rice and let it cool and mash it a little and keep it aside.In a pan heat OIl and ghee and add urad daal,mustard seeds,ajwain,hing ,curry leaves,coriander leaves ,red chillie, green chillie and fry for a minute and add to the yogurt. Now to the yogurt add salt and beat the yogurt with a spoon for few seconds.Now add the rice to the yogurt and mix well.

Enjoy with any pickle or as it is.
