Ullipaya pakoda(Onion fritters)

Ingredients::

Onions::2 big sized

Besan(chick pea flour)::1 cup

Rice flour::1/2 cup

Turmeric::1/2 teaspoon

Red chillie powder::1 teaspoon

salt ::1 teaspoon

Green chillies::4

Oil::1/2 litre

Procedure::

Cut onions into thin slices and keep it aside.In a bowl add besan,rice flour,red chillie powder,salt and mix, now add the green chillie pieces ,onion slices and one tablespoon of hot oil and mix well so that the mixture comes together without any dry flour.The water from onions is enough to mix.The consistency should be of a soft cookie dough.Now in a deep frying pan heat oil and start dropping small amounts of dough and let it fry until crispy.To check the right amount of heat drop a small amount of dough into the oil and it should float to the top in few seconds.Make sure to fry on medium heat and remove on a paper towel to remove excess oil.Enjoy with Tea or Coffee.
