Kandi pachadi(Toor daal chutney)

Ingredients::
Toor daal ( split pigeon peas) :: 1 cup
Red chillies::3
Cumin seeds::1/2 teaspoon
garlic ::2 cloves
Oil :: 1 tablespoon
Urad daal:: 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds ::1/2 teaspoon
Procedure::
Dry roast the toor daal in a pan on medium heat until golden brown.Now add the red chillies and cumin and fry for one more minute.Let it cool and add salt,one garlic clove and grind into fine paste adding a little bit of water.Now heat oil in a pan and add urad daal and mustard seeds and let them splatter then add garlic pieces and fry until golden brown. Add this to the grinded paste and mix well.The chutney is ready.
Enjoy with ghee rice.Stays at room temperature for a day.Its very healthy as its full of protein.
