Mulangi pulusu pachadi(Radish chutney)

Ingredients::

Mulangi (Radish) ::2 medium

Red chillies::1

Green chillies::2

Urad daal::1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds::1/2 teaspoon

Oil ::2 teaspoon

Coriander leaves ::1/4 bunch

Curry leaves :: 5 to 6

Oninon::1/2 cup small pieces

Tamarind :: small lemon size ( soak in little water for few minutes and

squeeze the soaked tamarind so you get a thick paste)

Turmeric::1/4 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Procedure::

Wash and peel mulangi(radish). Now grate the mulangi and squeeze the water out of it and keep it aside.In a pan heat 2 teaspoons of oil and add urad daal , mustard seeds, red chillie, green chillie pieces, curry leaves and turmeric. Once the mustard seeds splatter add the onions and salt and cook until tender . Now added the squeezed mulangi and cook for 1 minute.Now reamove it and add 2 teaspoons of thick tamarind paste. Mix well and add coriander leaves and enjoy.

Good with roti , rice and dosa.Good for one day if kept at room temperature.If refrigerator good for three days.
