Aratikaya aava Kura(Plantain Curry)

Ingredients::

Aratikaya(Plantain) ::2

Red chillies::3

Tamarind::small lemon size

Peanuts::1 tablespoon

Turmeric::1/4 teaspoon cumin

Salt to taste

Urad daal::1 teaspoon

Chana daal::1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds::1and1/2teaspoon

Curry leaves::5 to 6 leaves

Green chillie ::1

Oil::2 teaspoons

Procedure::

Wash and peel and cut the aratikaya

Into pieces . Cook until tender and mash it and keep aside.Now grind 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, tamarind, peanuts, red chillies,salt and turmeric into fine paste.In a pan heat 2 teaspoon s of oil and add urad daal, Chana daal, mustard seeds and let them splatter. Now add the curry leaves, green chilies pieces and mashed aratikaya and stir well and cook for few minutes. Now add the grinded paste and stir well and cook for one more minute. Now remove in serving dish and enjoy.

Stays outside for two days. Longer it stays tastes better.
