Maamidikaya chaaru (Mango soup)

Ingredients ::

Green mango::1

coriander leaves:1/2 bunch

black pepper::1/2 teaspoon

asafoetida (hing)::1/2 teaspoon

cumin seeds::1 teaspoon

ajwain::1 teaspoon

turmeric::1/2 teaspoon

salt to taste

Procedure::

Peel the green mango , cut into pieces and cook in water until tender.Now let it cool and make into a soft paste.In a pan heat oil and add cuminseeds, ajwain seeds, black pepper,and hing.let them fry for few seconds.Now add the mango paste ,turmeric and salt stir well.Now add 3 cups of water and let it boil for atleast 8 to 10 minutes.Now add the coriander leaves and serve.

Good during hot summer days.keeps your body cool.Stays good for two days outside.Taste good hot or cold.
