Gutti beerakaya Kura (Ridge gourd)

Ingredients::

beerakaya(turia or ridge gourd)::1 kg

chana daal::1 tablespoon

Urad daal::1tablespoon

coriander seeds::1tablespoon

red chillies::5

onion::1 medium sized

coriander::1/2 bunch

slat to taste

Procedure::

wash the beerakaya and peel it and cut into 3 inch pieces and make a l

slit in the middle.now in a frying pan dry roast chana daal ,urad daal, coriander seeds and red chillies on medium heat untill the coriander seeds splatter.now let this cool and grind into fine powder.Cut onion and cilantro into small pieces .Mix the onion,cilantro into the powder with salt and stuff into the beerakaya .Once all the pieces are stuffed ,in a pan add 1 tablesppon of oil and the stuffed beerakaya to the pan and let it cook with the lid for few minutes.now remove the lid ans stir carefully and cook without the lid until the curry comes together without any water.

Remove in a serving dish and enjoy.
