Majjiga pulusu (Buttermilk stew)

Ingredients::

Buttermilk( sour) :: 1 liter (keep the buttermilk outside overnight )

Turmeric::1/2 teaspoon

Coriander seeds( dhaniya)::1tablespoon

Cumin seeds:: 1 teaspoon

Rice flour:: 1 tablespoonpoon

Chana daal :: 1 tablespoon

Mustard seeds :: 1 teaspoon

Green chillies::4

Ginger::1/4 inch

Drum sticks :: 8 to 10 pieces

Bottle guard: small one

( Optional vegetables :: any squash , okra, tomatoes)

Ghee :: 2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Procedure::

Soak the Chana daal, coriander seeds , cumin seeds for an hour. After an hour grind the coriander seeds, Chana daal,cumin seeds, rice flour , green chillies, ginger into fine paste.Now add 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan and put mustard seeds and let them splatter. Now add your vegetables and add some water and little salt ,let the vegetables cook until they are tender. Now add the grinded paste into the butter milk and pour into the cooked vegetables. Now add some salt and turmeric and let this mixture come to boil for 5 to 8 minutes stirring occasionally.Now remove in a serving dish and enjoy.

Stays good for two days outside and lasts for a week in fridge .
